Course Director PADI Gianluca Danese prepared in cooperation with the Immersion Research Team an interesting course to face this possible inconvenient and we propose you an article that we are sure will be of interest for each diver.
Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September was held the third National convention “Carabinieri Friends of the Sea”.
The convention that during the last two years had an exponential growth of participants, saw the collaboration of free deep diver world champion, Gianluca Genoni, that assume the task to place the Carabinieri Flame, blessed by the priest, on the seabed of “Punta Mesco shoal”.
The event was held at the “Diving Punta Mesco” in Levanto (SP) and had as main target the fundraising for the “GASLINI” Hospital located in Genoa for the research on cancers that affecting mainly children. The fundraising has been effected through a lottery involving our passion for the underworld and the proceeds has been entirely donated.
Immersion, as usual sensible to the activities that revolve around our underwater world, participated to the convention as technical sponsor. For the event Immersion prepared two watches, models Seal and Whale Ip Black, personalized with the “Carabinieri Friends of the Sea” logo and devolved some models for the charity auction.
We would give all our thanks and also all our compliments to organizers of the event and to the “Punta Mesco Diving” for the reception and for the splendid performance of the two days.
